By manipulating the SP site (doesn't cost a thing) - this family shows together on the 1911 census. No further detail unless credits bought. |

There are 2 Martin Arthurs showing on the 1911 census for Midlothian of an age to appear on Valuation rolls. |

As Robert Moore was born in St Giles reg district in 1914, and the family were there in 1911, your Martin Arthur will be the one in the Lawnmarket in 1915 and 1920. |

In the 1920s (and even when I was a student in Edinburgh in the 1960s) the Lawnmarket was a really slummy disreputable place. Not somewhere a lone female would venture after dark in the 1960s - and with trepidation even in daytime. |
