Hello, Louisa Byers was born roundabout 1875 Middlesbrough, Yorkshire. Her parents are Thomas Byers and Sarah Ann Ord. I can't find her baptism and her birth isn't recorded on the government site or FreeBMD. |

In 1911, the mother says one of her 9 children has died. Have you a record of that death? |

It looks as though the parents only registered their children after the introduction of penalties. |

Thanks Erika, I've been looking for more births and found one for Roy Gordon Morton born Dec q 1918 at Chapel en le Frith (Derbyshire) maiden name Byers. This could be a coincidence with the names of course but they must have come back sometime if Arthur snr died in Leeds. Thank you for all your help. |

Thank you Maddie, is it possible to do a 1911 census search for Haddon Street, Middlesbrough to see who was living there, although I appreciate the occupier may not have been there 1916. Is there any record of them going back? |

Thanks Argyl, bit of a long shot that it would be a relative. I don't have the above in my tree anywhere. |
