I have limited information here but have actually just be informed of the above.

Main issue is that I have a Bridget Barrow, of Cork, dying on 12 August 1887 in Jersey aged 63. Her husband Ralph Barrow died on 4 Match 1885 in Jersey.

I had no parents for Bridget until now.

A son, Walter, was baptised 9 August 1859 and it gives her parents as Michael and Frances Fitzpatrick.

Is it possible to ascertain a marriage even if we don't know the specific parish?

An Ancestry tree gives her birth May 1824 in Cork and she is named as Bridget Fitzpatrick Carpenter

Ralph is said the be born 27 November 1811 Bolton, Lancs

First child shown is Frances Alice Barrow b 26.2.1843 in Bangalore, India

Could Ralph have been in the Army? Yes, Shirley's 1861 census would suggest that

When I was given the details of Bridget and Ralph's marriage, it said Carpenter, which I thought was her surname. I'm thinking it may have been her father's occupation???

The moved to Jersey around 1855ish??

Perhaps the first child Frances died in India?

The other version of the marriage on FMP gives her surname as Carpenter and says she is of St Thomas Mount.

So there is confusion as to whether Bridget was called Fitzpatrick or Carpenter.

If anyone has access to deaths in India, perhaps the children concerned can be accounted for. The 1861 census and death look ups in Jersey show nothing for Frances or Arthur John.

I see there is a Margaret Fitzpatrick in the 1861 census listed above....

FMP has the census transcribed differently to Ancestry - each person separately - but the original shows him together with Eliza, A. John, Louisa and Ada

Whilst on the same page, Margaret Fitzpatrick is not listed with the Barrow's. She is listed as aged 19 and from Ireland, nothing more specific. The name may or may not be coincidental
