So I think I have the following info but it would be great to have your thoughts -
I know the 1939 Census is correct as it contains a relative I have met so the Fanny Smith born 18/11/1870 is the right one.
Therefore -
The GRO birth 1870 Church Stretton MMN Bromley born Q4 - tallies as correct
This is supported by the baptism transcript posted on here with baptism date late Nov 1870 and the the 1901 census lists her birthplace as Parkgate supported by this baptism.
1871 Census lists 1 Fanny smith in Church Stretton with grandparents surname Bromley which matched GRO MMN on birth
I have found 1 death record in Bradford 1956 - my family end up in Bradford around this time - Will order this record and the 1870 Birth record.
Census wise. Searched for Fanny Smith born 1870 +/-2 born shropshire and there are a few each year but one shows with est birth 1870 and is the 1869 Birth - so not this fanny. There is a Fanny showing est birth year 1871 with correct birthplace but not 100% -
1881 - a Visitor at 426 Bolton Road Pendlebury Lancashire with an Elizabeth Smith???
1891 - Manchester Road Clifton possibly with father Thomas A Smith???
