There was only one Susan Whitelaw born 1944-46 in England/Wales.

Birth registered 1st quarter 1946 (so born between approx. November 1945 and March 1946) in Surrey South Eastern reg district.
Mother's maiden name Whitelaw.

There are streets called Meadway in several different towns.
Which town do you mean, Norman?

Nazby is listed on many passenger and crew lists, always as a crew member (radio operator), He's listed on many different ships including Empress of Britain and Mauretania.
