There is mention in newspaper articles that , following Nathaniel's death, his wife contested his will saying that he was of unsound mind and feeble when he made it. - His 2 sisters who he had been living with had shared his estate between them. |

One of the articles mentions that they were married in 1872 so the marriage you found is probably the correct one. |

With his 2 sisters from the 1881 census, Margaret and Mary. Grandparents John and Isabella, all in lair A240. |
