There was another Marjorie Bellamy born in 1928. I assume that death belongs to that one. |

Ok thanks... I had a word with my dad about Mavis and about his dad being the father. He just said all he was told that Ernest was the dad. Wow, it’s strange to think that all these years, my Aunty Mavis hadn’t a clue. She died a few years ago so I’m unable to talk to her about this. I have to say, she did look like Walter!! |

Certainly, Samuel was the father - that's why the birth is registered in two surnames. |

Age for death for Majorie is too early but could Samuel be the dad?? |

Cheers Erika, yes I think it is, you’re right. I haven’t had time today to search anything. Been so busy and wish there were more hours in the day. I’ll have a search tomorrow. You’re a star ?? x |

Perhaps the child is the 'closed' record on the 1939 I posted some time ago |

Update ... my dad just told me that Miriam (Valerie’s mother) had a daughter when she met and married my dads dad Walter Waterlow. So Valerie has a half sibling. Dad thinks her name was Margery...Marjorie... not sure on the spelling. Dad must of kept seeing her as he just said she was evil as she threw all Walters medals away and pictures of the ships etc he was stationed on..... the plot thickens!!! |

Hi Dea, did I put Bedfordshire? Oh heck, sorry, my head is spinning with all the names etc. I’m not very good at this as you can see. I have a terminal tummy condition with which I’m on hell of a lot of medication incl morphine so sometimes my brain goes into shut down. Really sorry about that. xx |

So, she lived with her daughter in Buckingham, not Bedfordshire as you previously stated? |
