Hello, Jane Byers marries Edward Pass 5 March 1849 at St Thomas, Stockton on Tees, Co Durham. (Jane baptised 16/7/1822 at Guisborough, Yorkshire). Edward born Easington, Yorkshire. I have all the census for son Robert but I cannot find Jane after 1861 or the two girls. As Edward was a sailor, he may have died at sea.
This is 1861 census
1861 census Church Street Guisborough
Jane Pass 38 married dressmaker Robert Pass 12 son Guis Mary A Pass 10 daughter Guis Hannah J Pass 8 daughter Guis
I think below is Edward although it says born Barlby
1861 census Stockton Street Stranton
Jane Watson 33 head unmarried Guisborough Robert Watson 51 brother mariner Guisborough George Watson 43 brother boot and shoemaker Guisborough Mary Jane Watson 10 niece Guisborough – George daughter John Augusta Watson 2 nephew Guisborough Edward Pass 38 mariner Barlby Yorkshire
Below is the 1871 census for Lofthouse Yorkshire but this is Edward's mother, his sister and his nephew.
1871 Lofthouse Yorkshire Jane 59 single dressmaker Lofthouse Yorkshire John 20 son Easington Yorkshire blacksmith (illegitimate?) Elizabeth Pass 89 mother widowed Easington Yorkshire
Found this for Jane for 1881 but not sure
1881 census Brunswick Street Stockton
Robert Lee 29 Thirsk Mary Jane Lee 31 Stockton Walter Lee 1 Stockton Jane Pass 58 visitor Guisborough nurse domestic widow Martha Dack 16 servant Norfolk
There is a death for a Jane Pass Sept q 1895 aged 73 middlesbrough area which would fit Jane's date of birth.
Can anyone find Jane or the girls 1871 onwards? The above census are off family search.
Hope the above makes sense.
Thank you.
