Hi, I am trying to find the death details for a Margaret Dillon Murdoch she died 7/3/1929 Lansdale, Montgomery, Pennsylvania, USA.
She was the wife of Charles Murdoch I am trying to locate where she was born and married maybe Scotland she had a daughter called Sarah Murdoch not sure where she was born.

MARGARET MURDOCH DIES

Native Of Scotland Dies At Home On Hancock Street

Margaret Murdoch, aged twenty-five years, a native of Scotland, and the wife of Charles Murdoch, died yesterday at the Murdoch home, Hancock street and Church road, Lansdale, from a complication of ailments.
Mrs. Murdoch was born in Scotland in 1903 and came to America about six years ago. She has resided in Lansdale about seven months. Mr. Murdoch is employed by the Andale Engineering Company.
Besides her husband she is survived by her young children and a brother, who also lives in Lansdale.

This record says they were married on 17th Sept 1920 at Addiewell, Scotland.
Addiewell is in West Lothian.
It says Margaret was born at Addiewell on 18th Dec 1894, but doesn't give her maiden surname.
She arrived in the USA (New York) on 28th Sept 1930.
The sons were all born at Bents, West Lothian, Scotland.

I don't see any such marriage on ScotlandsPeople.

However, if you were to buy the birth cert of one of the sons, it would tell you both parents' names , as well as place and date of marriage (if the above isn't correct for some reason).

If the death posted by Dea is the one you thought was correct - the DOB is several years different from what Charles's naturalisation record says.

Are you sure you've got the right Margaret?

She died on March 7th 1929, so she couldn't have arrived in 1930

And she was born in 1903, according to the death notice

This looks like her naturalistion - at the same time as the Charles whose info you've posted

The only marriage in Scotland 1919-29 of a Charles Murdoch to a Margaret is the one to Margaret Gillon -

so the 1903 Margaret didn't marry in Scotland.

Was her name Dillon or Milne? What info do you have to suggest it was Dillon, Ian?

If Milne was her maiden surname - there were 20 Margaret Milnes born in Scotland in 1903.

If it was her middle name, there were six.
