I ordered Beverleys birth certificate, and now have it, and yes, that could be Valeries birth entry, I wonder what the "Durston " means.

I was hoping to find, for starters, who was living at 12 Heol Ganol in 1939, and was also hoping it would be Valerie with her parents, but can't find the 1939 register entry.

I will order the marriage certificate if I have to.

Eiron and Valerie are on the electoral rolls to 2015 in Bridgend mid Glamorgan

So she may have lived with or near her mum

Her death cert would give details of her address and hopefully the informant would be a family member

Interesting that Eiron died in 2014 and to my knowledge Valerie died many years ago, but without a firm DOB for Valerie, I have been unable to get her DOD.

Durston was the maiden name of the lady who married Trevor Edwards

The birth ref quoted for a Valerie shows mmn was Durston but it's not an uncommon name so you would need more info on Valerie to see if it's the correct lady

Interesting, I know for a fact that they lived at 49 Eustace Drive.

Could be with a daughter, he had 4, plus "Beverley" and a son. He was definately married to a Valerie.

For future reference, Deborah , it's not possible to reverse the "Answered" click.

You can, however, edit the title of your thread, and add "NOT answered" or something similar.

And often the helpers carry on looking at a supposedly "Answered" thread in any case, because we know that some people think it means that they have answered a query asked by someone else on their thread - and not that their own thread query has been answered.

You are all amazing!! I have found the 1939 entry.

Trevor Edwards, with Winifred, Valerie, and Sylvia. Interestingly there is a Daniel G Durston (single) at the same address which is Penybont, 12 Heol Ganol. I would never have got there without your help.

Now all I have got to do is find out what happened to Beverley.

Shirley- looks like you have the right entry, the 1939 shows Valeries birth as the 2nd of February 1934.

You say you don't know "what happened" to Beverley.

You do know her birth and death, and that she didn't marry.

It's unlikely you'll ever find out anything else about her life unless you happen to make contact with someone who knew her.
There won't be any other official records that we can find online.
