George Anthony Andrews died while travelling to England from Australia after 1945. George was born 1908 Newcastle Upon Tyne Northumberland England. Father George ,Mother Jessie Irving. I have found a death 1957 at sea on Lisbeth M. I am not sure if this or the right person.

Name down as George Ant, Andrews.

If he and Alice were in Australia in 1963 and if the 1964 death in Newcastle is the correct one, he obviously returned 1963-4 - in which case he probably flew, and there won't be any record.

Still at the same address where she had lived with George - but he's not listed, so the 1964 Newcastle death is probably the right one.

Is this the same person who died in Northumberland, I wonder.

I have Alice and George's marraige cert in 1945 he was 36 yrs.George was a Bachelor. My mother Alice's daughter told me he died at sea,, maybe it was on his way back to Australia.

Alice was born in Wentworth NSW Australia and married in her later years. The Will and Probate seems to be correc.
I can see that his death is not 1957 on the Lisbeth M at sea but 1964 in Newcastle upon Tyne,maybe he was sick on the ship but died on land ? I could order his death cert but where do I find the order number. Regards sue
