in my keepsafe i have a photo of a headstone

mary patchett died 1/05/2013
john william patchett (spouse) died 3/11/1913
daughter elizabeth died 12/10/1883

also james who died 11 months --------------------

also john Wm died 6 months son of w and m patchett -----------------

John willliiam and mary schofield married 1872 in bradford and 1911 census states they had 9 children, two died. but headstone says 3 , so am a little confused
the surviving children are

I have all the info on the family but can find no trace of the children who died.

Could John wm be the son of another relative as it says son of W & M patchett

he could be but jw only had one brother joe
don't hold much hope on this one :-(

Presume this is the marriage with Mary's surname spelt differently. Have you checked births with this variation?

8 births so far - one missing - yet you have James and John William on the headstone ??

The child named John William is shown as son of W & M Patchett.

His name has not been added to the gravestone like Elizabeth and James, but to a base stone. Is he not part of immediate family.

Adult John William is referred to on the gravestone as John William not William so is it a different person?

i know can't make sense of it
are either child the missing one and i cant see either a jw or james in my tree who might fit

Elizabeth is one of the 2 that died and if jw belongs to someone else by elimination it must be james

You obviously know where the grave is - could the Church or Cemetery records give you a date for burial to give an idea of the birth/death time frames??

sorrry i dont it was a photo posted by someone else on ancestry, they lived in Pudsey all their lives
