im looking for more details of julia eleanor perkins married john duncan welford
i know they split up and left children in workhouse and no one heard of her again so her daughter julia said i found a julia walford which could be her i mentioned this in my other thread if someone could please look and see if this could be her

i think alfred's age was down wrong in 1851 census he was born 1834

Didn't find civil registration or a baptism for Frances Kennett I'm afraid.

In 1851, Alfred, aged 11, was a Brazier's Apprentice, which strikes me as a bit young, even for those days

Until 1875, there were no penalties for not registering births, so always bear that in mind.

Looking further, I think this might be Harriet's baptism, despite the wrong forename for the mother.

The father, Samuel, is a brazier, and the abode is Eagle St, the address on other baptisms for children of Samuel and Frances, and also on the 1851 census (Eagle Court on the 1841). Also, the same church as all the other children except Samuel jr were baptised.
