Hi I know you can't get the full Scottish censuses but I'm looking for a James MacIntosh Lund born 1868 I've got him in 1871 with his brother and mother
Margaret Lund aged 37 Thomas M Lund 4 & James M Lund 3 Berwick upon Tweed
but nothing after that for James until 1901 where he is in Chapel en le frith Buxton England down as James Macintosh Lund
On scotlandspeople it has a James Mc I Lund aged 13 in Morebattle Midlothian in 1881 and 1891 it has a James M Lund aged 29 in Newington Midlothian
I've tried on ancestry to find these two censuses but nothing is showing up so hoping some one with FMP can look I know sometimes they do differ in what shows up
Thank you

Yes I've got that one for 1939
And that could be him in the 1881 census at school his father had died so possibly having 2 boys close together their mother must have sent him to school
thought it was strange not finding him for 40 yrs? possibly the one in the 1891 census was him also
Thank you

There is a record on FMP of James Macintosh Lund as a Lieutenant in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps 1914-22, which fits with 1901
No age or birthplace info, but the full record can be seen at Kew

I used some credits on SP and looked at the 1891 image
Having fround him there, I managed to pick him out on FMP
1891 England, Wales & Scotland Census Transcription Argyle Place, St Cuthbert Edinburgh, Newington, Midlothian, Scotland James McLund Lodger Unmarried Male 29 1862 England Veterinary Student Transcription Henry G Hewitson Lodger Unmarried Male 19 1872 England Veterinary Student
The age has been scored through on the original, and is far from clear - it COULD be 24.

In Kelly's Directory of Oxfordshire for 1907, James Lund is listed under Veterinary Surgeons.
His address was 61 Wood Green, Witney.
so this is him in 1911:
James Lund in the 1911 England Census Name: James Lund Age in 1911: 52 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1859 Relation to Head: Boarder Gender: Male Birth Place: Berwick, Berwickshire Civil Parish: Witney County/Island: Oxfordshire Country: England Street address: 61 Wood Green Witney Oxon Marital Status: Single Occupation: Veterinary surgeon Registration district: Witney Registration District Number: 156 Sub-registration district: Witney ED, institution, or vessel: 9 Household schedule number: 171 Piece: 8227 Household Members: Name Age James Lund 52
Ancestry's transcription puts several other people with him, but he's actually living alone. The other people's address is also 61 Wood Green, but they're a different household.
The 1939 death I posted earlier is the correct one.
