I don't speculate about relationships, but the woman's married name was Spirerdly, so it couldn't be her maiden name, and her birth year was c1792, making her two when Elizabeth Towsey was born. Also, she was born in St Pancras- not Dorset!

Do you think the maiden name of Elizabeths mother was Elizabeth Spirerdley who was living with the Maris family as a visitor

Possibly too old to be the one in 1851, but don't rule her out without further checking
