And maybe in 1891. Original says b Blaenrhondda which is part of the community of Treherbert. David Lewis is 1 month old and born LLanddarog which is in CArmarthan RD so probably the birth I posted earlier Q! 1891 with no mmn

Just posting whilst hunting around, these next 2 posts are very ??
The marriage certificate of Hannah Mary to John should reveal their Father's names and occupations but ???? could this be the family. Note the Father's name here and her own first child was David. According to genuki.org Ystradyfodwg is the former name for the Rhondda

If we have the right family your GG Grandad was John Williams b c 1870 and GG Grandmother was Hannah Mary Lewis b c 1871/2/3 (From 1901/1911 census)
?? This could be Hannah Mary's birth registration Name: Mother's Maiden Surname: Order: LEWIS, HANNAH MARY REES Order GRO Reference: 1873 S Quarter in PONTYPRIDD Volume 11A Page 387
1901 says born Treherbert and 1911 Pentre (on original not Pentred as Transcript) - They are about 3 or 4 miles apart in the Rhondda Valley an area covered by Pontypridd RD
?? Surname First name(s) District Vol Page Marriages Mar 1871 (>99%) Lewis David Pontypridd 11a 390 <<<<< Lewis Edward Pontypridd 11a 390 REES Mary Pontypridd 11a 390 <<<<< Thomas Jennett Pontypridd 11a 390
an Edward and Jennett Lewis are on the 1871 census in Ystradyfodwg

I posted the possibility of David being born before the 1892 marriage of John Williams to Hannah Mary Lewis in 1893. The 1911 census posted lists Mum as Hannah Mary. It's in the Carmarthan RD as are Shadrach and David's births.
Carl is this what makes you say all the children were called Lewis Williams? eg. Name: Mother's Maiden Surname: Order: WILLIAMS, SHADRACH LEWIS GRO Reference: 1896 S Quarter in CARMARTHEN Volume 11A Page 1141
Shadrach was registered as Shadrach Williams and it's the Mother's maiden name that is Lewis. the same follows for the other births I posted.
It would seem you're missing the birth for Gladys and Gwen. Look for gaps between births of the children that show on census.
The 1911 says the marriage had produced 9 children of which 6 were still living. So 2 or 3 births to find (David might not have been theirs) who presumably were born and died between census.
At only 40, Hannah Mary could have had further children too anytime post the census date.

That would make sense why they called all the children Lewis Williams. I have a very old pic of a young child with Shadrach on the back, I didn't have a clue who this was nor where it came from. I could only think it came from my late mums photos.

Hi all, from what I have found from living relatives and records is that my G.G dad Thomas Williams was born in 1902 and died in 1969. He married Elsie Walker in 1924 but moved to Pen-y-groes and it looks as if his last days were spent there. I think he was 1 of 9? But I only have the 7 names I put on my first post but this is unclear. It is thought that my G.G.G dad was a John Williams born around 1873 but this isn't clear. Sadly I haven't got a name for my G.G.G mother but my family still pass on there names even today. Thomas was born in Llandybie Llandilofawr.
Im now thinking that the names I have for Thomas siblings are close but not right.
Hope this helps peeps and thank you.

Wow guys, thank you for all the responses. I haven't found any records of the family as it looks like Thomas moved away possibly. Which would make sense that grey ghost has found all of the above. You guys are truly amazing, I'll be back later to answer some more questions. Thank you

Possibly the census you've posted are a good find Malyon, the names certainly fit what Carl has put in his OP.
The RD of Llandilofawr and Llanarthney are next to each other and the places are only 5 miles or so apart
The RD Carmarthen covers Llanarthney where Shadrach is said to be born on the 1911 census
Cross Sands on transcript 1901 is probably Cross Hands
Name: Mother's Maiden Surname: Order: WILLIAMS, SHADRACH LEWIS Order GRO Reference: 1896 S Quarter in CARMARTHEN Volume 11A Page 1141
?? born pre marriage but John acknowledged he was Father WILLIAMS, DAVID LEWIS Order GRO Reference: 1890 S Quarter in CARMARTHEN Volume 11A Page 1009 or this on with no MMN suggesting illegitimate LEWIS, DAVID - Order GRO Reference: 1891 M Quarter in CARMARTHEN Volume 11A Page 1069
?? Morgan on the 1901 posted but Mary Ann 1911 WILLIAMS, MARY ANN LEWIS Order GRO Reference: 1898 M Quarter in CARMARTHEN Volume 11A Page 1145
??Hannah from the 1901 aged 10 months on original I think. Bridgend covers Peterson super Montem where the family are living WILLIAMS, HANNAH MAUD LEWIS Order GRO Reference: 1900 S Quarter in BRIDGEND Volume 11A Page 819
WILLIAMS, THOMAS LEWIS Order GRO Reference: 1902 J Quarter in BRIDGEND Volume 11A Page 910
?? Lelles on the 1911 and Geraint's Letty? WILLIAMS, LETITIA LEWIS Order GRO Reference: 1905 S Quarter in BRIDGEND Volume 11A Page 954
?? Doris from the 1911 WILLIAMS, RACHEL DORIS LEWIS Order GRO Reference: 1909 J Quarter in BRIDGEND Volume 11A Page 1021
On the 1911, places of birth for the younger children are given as Path on the transcript. The original doesn't look like Path, but quite what it is I don't know
The 1911 says that John and Hannah had had 9 children - 6 still living and 3 had died

If that 1939 of alviegals' is correct -
Thomas Williams married one of these people Elsie G Walker Spouse's last name Walker District Llandilofawr District number - County Carmarthenshire Country Wales Volume 11A Volume as transcribed 11A Page number 2679 ------------------ England and Wales births
First name(s) Joseph J Last name Williams Birth year 1928 Birth quarter 3 Registration month - Mother's maiden name Walker District Llandilofawr County Carmarthenshire Country Wales Volume 11A Page 1869
and
First name(s) William T Last name Williams Birth year 1932 Birth quarter 1 Registration month - Mother's maiden name Walker District Llandilofawr County Carmarthenshire Country Wales Volume 11A Page 1575
The marriage certificate would give Father's names and an occupation which might help to track the family in 1911
