My research leads to the following from Ancestry web site. |

I think this is the death of the Walter born in 1922 with mmn Brough. He's on the 1939 register working as a servant in Bakewell. |

I'm not seeing a 1915 marriage. Is there any source for that on Ancestry please? |

If this is George, he married Hannah Simpson in 1910 but sadly she dies in 1914. |

This may be the son of George Richmond and Hannah Simpson. Only birth and death records showing for him so probably didn't marry and had already enlisted when the 1939 register was taken. |

It appears George Richmond and Hannah Simpson had a son called John Samual Richmond in 1911 and another son called Zachariah Richmond in 1913 |

John Samuel Richmond had already died by the date of the census in 1911 (which is why his name is crossed off the census image. Here is the death:- |

David, I would be tempted to get Walter's birth certificate to check the name of his parents. I'd then probably buy the 1921 marriage certificate even if just to eliminate it. |

Who is Fred Siddell ? |
|||
|
rootgatherer | Report | 16 Aug 2018 18:25 |
George Richmond's mother's maiden surname was Siddell so Fred is probably a cousin lodging with George and Zac in 1939. |
