	You need to be careful as there are two James Robert Turrells born in 1851 in the same area. TURRELL, JAMES ROBERT MIEN Order GRO Reference: 1851 J Quarter in GREAT YARMOUTH Volume 13 Page 436 Order TURRELL, JAMES ROBERT SEELY Order GRO Reference: 1851 S QuarTher GREAT YARMOUTH ONE OF THEM DIED 1920 and the other 1941. This the one who died in 1941. 	Note that the marriage i posted for James Robert Turrell......names his father as Benjamin Occ: Fisherman. It needs checking because on the 1871 census, James Robert's father James is a Fishing Boat Owner.

	Benjamin wasn't Samuel's brother. Looks like (allowing for mistransciptions) that he was the other James Robert's brother. TURRELL, BENJAMIN JOHN MINN Order GRO Reference: 1847 D Quarter in GREAT YARMOUTH Volume 13 Page 348 That would explain why you haven't found Benjamin, James and Samuel together on census. Ben will be on a census with a James Robert and Samuel will be in a different household with his brother James Robert.

	This seems to be the birth of the grandson on the 1871 census. He's illegitimate but who's his mother? The only daughter I can see for James and Elizabeth is Mary Ann Amelia and she's a bit young to be his mother.
