Apologies. Apologies.
I have only come back to this today. Thank you all for the above information - very helpful indeed. Cx

No need to apologise.
I wish I could find Jane in 1871 - but, so far, I've drawn a blank

Thanks ErikaH
I can't find the daughter Betty either. I wondered if she had died but can't find a death, or did she go with her mother and take the Sudworth name? Can't find that either.....sigh...... :-(
Thank you for all your help. x

Isn’t she the stepdaughter Betsey Holme shown in 1881 with the Sodsworth (sic) family?

Erika said Peter had 4 kids but, by 1911, only one was surviving. That would be John Thomas, who died in late Jan 1922. and was buried 26/1/1922.

Using http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ (lookiing up "rg14 wigan", I see: a) Piece RG14/22981 was ED 9 of the Wigan subdistrict of Wigan RD. b) Piece RG78/1345 was the 1911 census summary book piece number for the Wigan subdistrict of Wigan RD. 1911 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWYH-WKV ED0 includes 75 Platt Lane occupied by Mrrs (Maria) Parker, but its near the beg of ED9, and JT is near end - I think this bit of Platt Ln is just N of Scholes.
