i found a george scarborough born 1931 west ham parents george and martha but i cant find a death or marriage cert

George W Scarborough mum nee turner V4a P7 1931 west ham

As George & Martha's marriage is the only Scarborough / Turner marriage I can see, 1915 -34, I think Ronald and Dennis (births posted by MargaretM) must also be theirs, even if your uncle doesn't remember them.

However, I've just noticed that another Dorothy J Scarborough was born in Burnley in the same year and quarter as your Dorothy was born in West Ham.

So please ignore everything I've said about the Burnley one!

Sorry for the false trail!

Your Dorothy seems to have married a Mr Priest in Essex SW (which includes some of West Ham) in 1952.

I don't see his death (he'll only be 69).

There are a few marriages of people of that name, but I don't know if any are his or not.
