Find Ancestors

PLEASE, can anyone help me. Looking for relatives Emily Coleman (1865) and sister Mary Ann (1867) born in Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire. Parents John and Emma Coleman. I can find them up to 1891 census. By 1911 census, one of them has died but I have no clues as to which one or if either/both of the girls married. John was born in Great Milton and Emma in Great Haseley both in Oxfordshire. He was an agricultural worker.

Many thanks in advance as I have been looking on and off for about 2 years and today, spent about 8 hours at the National Archives at Kew with not one hint of where they are after 1891. They were sisters of my grandmother Louisa.

Thelma, why do you think the marriage is too early? she's not with parents in 1891 so unless you've found her elsewhere she could have married?

Extracts from that thread -

John Coleman (1860) is last spotted in 1881, living with his parents in Kimble along with siblings Mary Ann (1867/8) and Louisa (1873) - my grandmother. In 1881, Emily is in Hampstead as a nursemaid. By 1891, Emily has moved to Acton as a nursemaid and Mary Ann is in Kensington as a housemaid. John seems to be nowhere! I have looked for possible marriages for all of them (of course, John jnr. would not have changed his name) but I cannot find any.

I know that 3 children out of 6 have died by 1911 as Louisa didn't die till 1931, Edward (born and died in 1862), Annie (born and died in 1864) so that must mean that either John (1860), Emily (1865) or Mary Ann (1867) must have died but two of them must be alive.

Did you ever trace John after 1881? Probably as you say in your OP it is one of the girls who has died. However, for info -

In 1881 he is a Railway Porter b Haseley, Oxfordshire. This 1891 has John Adams b Haseley, although the year of birth has slipped. Wife Jane b Little Kimble

Was he born before his Mother married John Coleman??
