Trying to find a tree for my husband to no avail so far, he is looking for his Grandmother Bertha Bowers Born 1915ish in the North of England, She married a John Burke in 1931 |

If the marriage of Charity Mary Ellis to James Henry Bowers is 'correct', there is a Mary Elizabeth Bowers born in 1909, and this looks like the family in 1911: |

Oh WOW!! yes Bertha's mother was Charity Ellis, I am so sorry I didn't get back to this thread sooner, you are all so very helpful...Thank you all so much. I am very new to research and trying to get the hang of it. |

Yes, I believe after talking to a Bethas son (John Burke aged 84) that all above is correct, he is trying to remember as much as he can to help with the search. Now I must try to learn how to find more, as I said I really don't know what I am doing but learning more each day. |
