I couldn't see it listed on the GRO- now found it under Barron. However, it is not the correct death- this John was only age 6: |

How about 12/1861 Hull 9d, 151? |

I did see that marriage, and baptism of a possible child in 1836- annoyingly just before 1837 registration. |

I see - I have found a marriage for Anne and William Liptrott in 1834 in St Mary, Newington, Surrey and a possible death for him in 1838 in Bermondsey? |

I did mention the marriage was after the census- although we can't be a 100% it is the correct marriage, it certainly seems likely given the information. |

I'm a bit confused. How are John and Ann marked in the 1851 census (March 30) as married when they didn't marry until Nov 1851? |

Yeh- I don't think that family is related. I think the image does say Baron. (the handwriting makes the n look like a w) |

This family would probably relate to the address for John on his marriage? |

Oooo - that looks good Austin. I seem to have missed that post by Malyon.. |

Malyon posted this marriage earlier- this gives a little more detail- note that John is a rope maker- matching the 1851 census, and Ann is a widow. The marriage is a little after the 1851 census was taken, but might be worth considering. |
