Find Ancestors

Hi everyone, I've been off here for a good few years but I'm back trying to find out information on my partner's deceased father and his ancestors. I'm waiting for the birth certificate to arrive to confirm who I think the mother and father are, my partner's mother remembers the name Strickland for his mother so I think I'm on the right track, and she died shortly after John was born. Anyway here's what I have so far, just wondered if anyone else is looking for the same people, I'm drawing a blank on John in other peoples trees.
