OK- well sorted. I think we should discount him- especially as Emma doesn't appear to have been in the area at the time.

Just looking at the deaths for Emma and Herbert- I think these are likely them- Herbert moving to son's house in Salisbury after Emma's death:

Not seeing Probate for either

One of the photo's has Alice written above it......wish I could put photos on here for all to see

Possibly her sister? Alice Augusta? Is she recognisable in any of the other photos?

Just as a note to all that are helping, the Album was at a carboot in Wimborne, Dorset, I bought it for £10 as I could not bear for all those photos to get split up, originally I was just going to keep it - just as a thing of wonder - it is a Solid old album and weighs about 3 kg! when I saw that there were photos of the same family in it, especially the shop one and the wedding one I just thought how marvellous it would be to reunite it with one of the descendants who probably have no idea the photos are still in existence, I for one would give anything to have old family photos - so that is my reason for starting this thread, and everyone has thrown their selves into it, it is truly amazing! <3 - as an afterthought the seller at the car boot could have driven miles to do the car boot, they are a regular there, and it is possibly from either a house clearance - or a job lot from an auction house

I recently helped someone on flickr who had uploaded an album that was found in her mother-in-law's garage. The lady was in Canada, but we were able to trace relatives in the UK, and share them with delighted family.

It is a lovely thing you are trying to do- many of us would love to have family photos.

yes a long drawn out process.............. but the end is nigh...............still might be another 12 months for the final bit of paper, it has only been on going since 2014! but will be very happy when it is sorted
