I wonder whether anyone can help I was trying to track back the matriarchal line before Emily Jane Cock (1859). With your help I have got back to Betsy (born 1793) married name Green.
Can I go further back with your help.
Angela Wilcox (1925) Mother Florence G Smith (c 1900) (sisters Ruth A 1886, Constance 1890) Mother Emily Jane Cock (1859)(married Isaac b 1860) (siblings John 1846, Daniel 1848, Anne Marie 1855, Dinah 1858, Isaac 1845) Mother Sarah Green (1819) (married Charles Cock b 1819 also) Her mother was Betsy (maiden name unknown) (1793) (married Isaac Green b 1793 also)
So you have mother (angela), grandmother (florence gertrude), great-gm (emily jane), great great (sarah) and great great great grandmother (betsy)
I have got stuck. Can't find Betsy's maiden name or marital record to Isaac Green in/around Essex sometime before 1819 when Sarah born.
Dear experts - is this as far back as I can go with Genes reunited, or is there a trick.
If anyone has Betsy in their tree, could you kindly connect with me. Thanks so much Chris

Where was Gertrude born, not seeing a birth with mmn Cock so maybe Emily had been married previously?
