The Albert C who married Gladys M in Islington isn't the right Albert. They're on the 1939 register together. He was a Postman born 1910. |

Thanks Shirley. I would guess that is him. occupation seams to change a bit. but I know he was at the time of the accident, a driver. I thought it was a bus, but I guess drivers where in short supply in those days (you had to be wealthy to have the means to learn) . I would imagine that there will be something in the local papers about the incident. Especially as the newspaper collection was kept in Colindale |
