I need more help please, I am unable to find Frederick Charles Lear born 1879 Gravesend Kent in the 1911 census. I found 2 children of the name Lear with their mother Daisy Richardson living in Gravesend as a boarder, states she is single, had 4 children with only 2 alive. No sign of the father Frederick Charles Lear, found no marriage and there was a death for him in nearby Strood Kent in 1940. Regarding Daisy Richardson born in Croydon but although there was Daisy Richardson born in Croydon, it is not the same Daisy Richardson because she was on the 1911 census as still living in Croydon . Appreciate any ideas please

Many thanks, no wonder I couldn't find him if under Leak., Obviously that's him in 1901 a Blacksmith and in 1911 General Smith. Makes me wonder why he and Daisy Richardson never married, both states single in 1911 , yet she had 4 children by him all given the surname of Lear.

Hi SAFC, how did you find Frederick Charles Leak because I am on Ancestry and just looked through the 1911 census and unable to find him, which site do you go on. Would you be able to find Daisy Richardson born 1887 in Croydon so I know who her parents could be

Sylvia not very technical when it comes to posting a census but will try. Unable to apply for a marriage certificate to find who her father was because it looks like they were both single in 1911 and I can't find a marriage

SAFC, how strange it is coming up as Leak, upon looking at the census form 1911 ,it looks like Leah. I buy credits for look ups on here but pay yearly to be on here. Been on Ancestry for years and pay monthly. Can get into Family Search also. I find it too costly for look ups on here so go back onto Ancestry for them
