	Trying to find the birth of Jane Bishop 1839-1889 married to a George Fuggle 1860 then to George Britcher 1880 Tenderden on the census birth given as 1839 lots of trees give her birth 1826 my friends grandmother was Bertha Fuggle 1871 Janes daughter can any one find a birth in 1839 for her as 1826 does not seem right thank you Ann

	I think we're talking about two different Janes. (And two different George Fuggles.) Annabel's friend's gr-grandmother was Jane Hinkley 1839, not Jane Bishop 1822. Jane 1839: In 1861 (as posted by Greyghost) she was married to a George Fuggle, and had children Mary (3) and George. Their marriage? - Marriages Dec 1857 (>99%) Fuggle George Cranbrook 2a 779 Hinkley Jane Cranbrook 2a 779 Her birth? Births Mar 1839 (>99%) HINKLEY Jane Cranbrook 5 72 1861 says she was born Biddenden, but that may have been a mistake by the enumerator - Benenden is in Cranbrook reg district. The 1871 census (though mistranscribed), does say she was born Benenden on the image. 	Kent & Sussex Courier - Wednesday 08 July 1874 On the 27th ult at Tenterden, after a short and painful illness, George Fuggle aged 37 years. The deceased has left a widow (who is ill) with eight children to lament their loss.

	Annabel, George didn't marry twice- Look at ArgyllGran's post- George married Jane Hinkley, born 1839. Jane Bishop married another George (I suspect he died shortly after he married Jane Bishop, which is why there is a lot of confusion). 	Would Bertha's birth certificate not confirm Jane's maiden surname? You could then be sure of an accurate tree.
