Eily mai was Mary teresa fitzgeralds sister, eily may married Joe galvin,, Mary was my nan eily may and Joe were my great uncle and aunt,, they have siblings Patrick Joseph known as pj. Patricia Mary and tommy galvin.. the girls I don't know there married names but p j married moira Barry in 1980 to 82 roughly she died in lixnaw last year if I could find them I would get my information about my nan,and maybe relatives linking to new York her birthplace

Angela....What we need to know is what Mary Theresa parents Christian names were...Her fathers name will be on her Marriage Cert or both parents names on her Birth Cert /Baptismal Cert

Fitzgerald was her maiden name .. my maiden name is Coates after my mother freda patricia Coates, she was born 1/2/1943 my grandmother married in 1956 to Jim law in Maidenhead,, this is a real can of worms trying to unravel were roots are :-S

It's difficult without parent names. I'm still not sure I've understood the information:

Mary had brothers, Paddy and Tommy (Patrick & Thomas?) and sisters Elizabeth and Eily May. These siblings were all born Kerry, Ireland.

Sister Eily May married Joe Glavin.

Yes- she is first listed as Fitzgerald in 1939 and was single.

Then there was a name change to Coates (Date of notification for change could be 24/11/50- although not sure about the 50)

Then there was another notification of name change to LAW 17/12/56

Angela....It is the Christian names of Mary's Eily Mai's parents that I was looking for...It will be on her marriage Cert..at least her father's will be.

There surnames was Fitzgerald, as there children until marriage..my nan also, she was born in new York but I don't know how long she lived there, l have been told that my great granfather owned a shop in new york city they lived above the shop before returning to Ireland, I know her sisters and brothers were born in Ireland. I'm would love to find out the ancestry my second cousins the galvins still live there, I lost contact with them in 1982 <3

My grandmother was Mary teresa law her maiden name was Fitzgerald, her brothers and sisters were born in kerry the address was dromkeen causway with my great grandmother , Eiji may married Joe galvin and resided at the address with there children when my great grandmother died. :-S
