Susan Tracey Siddall 1967
Michael Siddall 1969
and LesleySiddall1970 born Don Valley.
parents to all of them is
Ronald Siddall
Patricia Ramsey 1948 Maltby.
Patricia Ramsey siblings called
Edward Ramsey 1946 sheffield
and May Ramsey 1952.
Patricia Ramsey parents were called
John j Ramsey and
Eva .m. Wicks 1917
but we are trying to find the parents of
Ronald Siddall we think he was born around 1946-48 doncaster area,
the family was told that Ronald Siddall changed his name to Siddall by depole but we are not 100%
please can you help

Have you got the marriage cert to see if Ronald's father is named on it? or if one of the witnesses might be a relative?

Ronald Siddall married Patricia Ramsey her father was John James Ramsey he was a miner.they are all dead.this is from wedding certificate.witness was D.M.Siddall and E.M. Ramsey married 1966. but family still think that Ronald changed his name to Siddall

There is a birth reg in 1947 for a probable brother to Ronald with the initials D.M (possibly the witness at his wedding?)

Hi Dea thank you do you think that Ronald was given his mothers maiden name fletcher as they was not married then when they married he took the fathers last name siddall and thats why family think thats why is name was changed and not adopted thanks

I would have thought so Janette.

His birth cert will show his mother's name and 'possibly' that of his father (unlikely though - would more likely just have remained blank).

Do you know anything more about the family - any brothers or sisters etc. to confirm that we have the correct one?
