afternoon all..

just started on my grandmothers side of the family and came up stuck straight away on her mother..lol.. but i know who to turn to :-)

so here goes,..im after help with Annie Hilda Brown born sunderland q1 1888 i know she married matthew pinchard Hern sunderland 1909 ( have matthews parents ,grandparents and sibings census etc ) i know annie died in 1924 as
when i looked for my grandmother ( sarah elizabeth hern ) in the 39 reg there was a blanche hern living there .. on checking this matthew did marry a blanche thew in 1926 . he then died in 1929
ive found matthew was at sea in 1911 but ive looked for annie hilda hern and cant find her anywhere !!!

any help with anything on annie welcomed (or blanche as just found about her !!)

just found blanche married an Edwad Elliott in 1913 . so they either divorced or edward died before 1926 and the james elliott on 39 register must be their son

malyon may be her but brown is very common name in sunderland and wouldnt like to guess on the 1891 /1901 so ive bit the bullet and just ordered her marriage to matthew .. then i will have her father ( hopefully) but she should be as annie hern in 1911

found in 1901 a hilda a brown granddaughter looked for a birth but found none for this hilda born 1888 so wonder if the name is the wrong way round

That census is also on Ancestry. Wonder why it isn't on GR? I suspect Hilda has been mistranscribed because of the curious way that the enumerator makes an H and also the fact that he doesn't bother to dot his i's. I suggest you look for the other names in the family.
