Tree on Ancestry has Barbara Fowler dying in 1983 and William dying in 2000 |

Wow, that's some leap in age for Barbara! I think the above is probably correct. David, do you have any birth certificates for Barbara or son William to confirm birth date? |

No Austin I haven't. |

I suspect the above is correct, despite the discrepancy in Barbara's age- however, I don't see a way of being certain without at least one of the birth certificates. |

This is William's service record: Child's birth dates confirm above is correct!! |

And Thomas was born 1918- which fits with the Thomas Fowler that died at sea! |

So we now have Barbara's death and son's William and Thomas death. |

No worries David- it's great to have a mystery to solve. I have a few things to catch up on, but if I get time I'll try and take another look at this. |

Thank you. I can't find that Royal Air Force record on Ancestry. |

It would be great to know if Margaret married and had children. If she did marry either as Fox or Fowler, she didn't use both middle initials of A R. |

David- the RAF record is from Find my Past. I've tried to send you the main page of the record so you can see the information. If you have any problem's viewing please let me know and I'll try and send it again. |

David- I've had another look for Barbara's husband, but can't see anything obvious for him. He isn't mentioned as living with Barbara on the report re the death of her son at sea, and neither is he listed living with her on the 1939 register (although looking at the information Choccy included she is still listed as married). |

This would fit with the Q registration |
