Mary Ellen & John Henry (?) Kent (Twins) born birmingham UK 16/06/1911

I am trying and have been for months now to find out the parents details of the above, Mary being my Grand Mother.
I have tried the 1901 Census they are not detailed.
I have tried other family tree users, no replies.
I have tried own family , no knowledge or dead.
I have tried Baptism records, nothing.

The only other thing I know is there mums maiden name was Barnes,

Can anybody help me ?

As I am currently posted to Australia trying to get Birth Certs takes months and I'm having no joy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am so excited at the information you chaps have found, I think I can confirm some information and shed some new information.
1) Yes, 1939 - Mary E Pickering (nee kent) unpaid domestic is one of the twins (my grandmother)
married to - William G Pickering- Milk sales
Where do I find the1939 census ?
2) First wife died = Yes. Apparently the father of Mary E Kent did have a first wife who died they also may have had children, family legend says "Johnny & Tolly" who where sent away (USA ? )when the mum died and then dad remarried and had Mary Ellen & John H.
So can anybody confirm who the father is ? the first wife and children ? and the second wife is ?
I know this is a huge ask but it appears I will finally be making some progress.

In 1920 John and Maria (no Ann) are on the electoral registers at 6 Cliton Grove, Bellbarn Road, Edgbaston.

In 1922 Maria appears alone on the electoral register at the same address.

Updated information due to birth cert received for my grandmother :

6 Clifton grove, bell barn road. Birmingham.(think it says M.D after ?)
father : John Kent. licensed Victuallar
mother : Maria Kent nee Barnes.

What I cant find is where they where in 1921 or where her father or mother where in 1901.
I thought I found them at Blythe street bham, but the children Mary & john are different ages which has to be wrong as they are twins (shown on birth reg on subsequent lines).

& did the father die soon after 1921 ?

Any help would be great.
