have just been told by Sidney's dasughter that she was told his mum died at about 39 and found a very likey death registered in Kensington age 40 but spelt Maley.

I'll have to check it out -but seems a good possible. Aparently Sid remembered his dad came back to england, and had a tailors shop in marylebone. and then died when sid was around 18 years old -he remembers his sisters werent allowed to see him as they were girls! so must be around war time ish -but haven't found anything yet!



sids daughter seems to think that the granma who looked after sid and sisters was Maria's mum -but i can't work out if she had married a second time yet -as obviously different surname to Maria's maiden name.
