A lot of the detail for John Walker and Sarah in 1911 census are wrong. They weren't married, Sarah is shown as 35 so she could be married for the 15 years and still be mother of all the children, which of course she is not. Probably done as a face save so she didn't have to admit to being divorced, which carried a social stigma at the time. |

In the 1901 Census, John and Alice Walker lived at 12 Brownhill St, and John was a Cloth Embosser |
