Ah now that's a bummer Chris.......because if this was him, then he wasn't deceased when Edward George married...unless of course it's a double-whammy.....Annie "ran off" with him but he lived a double life and went back to his wife. So Annie became "widowed" |

I can't get over the similarity to my husband's great grandmother...she was married and with her husband in 1901. By 1911 she had set herself up miles away where nobody knew her with another man with whom she had two children that were "covered up"; she and her husband lived separate lives each declaring the other dead; the things they did eh? |

I think she moved 42 miles from Thanet to Charing Heath. Enough in those days. I think ...probably Edward Henry steed was the father. I think that she established herself as burrows but that he flitted between Kent and Prescot. Never prove it mind ?? |
