Hello I am trying to push a branch of my tree further back and have come to a standstill . Joseph Bean born in Yorkshire in 1834 I think . His son of John William Bean 1871 and his Mother was Loretta Butterill 1871. John was the post-master of Ossett
But who was Joseph's mother & father ? and did Annie have any siblings I think her mother & father were Matthew & Helen Pattison
I know its a lot to ask and I'm sorry about that

Sorry Shiela have you not made an error in your request. You say that Joseph was the son of John William Bean and Loretta Butterill but then you ask

were Joseph and Annie married?

Also the dates must be wrong.
You say Joseph was born c 1834, but then have 1871 as John (his father)'s birth.

But who is Joseph? Is he the son of John & Loretta, as you said? If so, when was he born - certainly not 1834.

If he's their son, he's not on 1911, 1901, 1891 censuses.

John's father was William.

With the names Jacobus & Joannes they sound Dutch (?)

But I don't see the connection between Joseph, and John & Loretta - there seem to have been two John William Beans born in 1869.
