Usually two female surnames in a marriage entry means the woman had been married before but there can be other reasons: |

Yes i see i have found two possible marriages for a pickles hartley theres only two that fit but its the knowing. I have the birth cert of Ann coming soon so il see if anything mores on there birth address is 10 rook street Nelson thats for Ann |

Don't know if this is coincidence or not, but searching Ernest Hoyle's address in the newspapers (334 Cog Lane) I also came across an article of an Arthur Alexander Hoyle lodging at the same address in 1946. Arthur was stated to be 22. |
