Hi, I really need to get to the library (as its free) but just wondered if someone would be able to do me a favour, I'm looking for my great grandmother he name was Beatrice Martin from cornwall, she married my great grandfather emlyn thomas I think in wales, around the 1890 ish ish, is far as i'm aware they had about 8 children, but I can't find anything for the marriage, any help would be greatly appreciated :-) |

But that census is for a James, not Emlyn? So is that the right family? If you could tell us which of the children was your grandfather we can double check. |

So Ivor died? So the dad was James not emlyn |

No Ivor was alive in 1911 , sorry my copy and paste missed off that he was 14, possibly one born and died between census. Charlotte M the eldest probably married 1903 |

I would love to know what you subscribe to, would be great to get all this info, so do you think emlyn was born James? |

ah yes he did, so people may have called him emlyn when he was actually james |

Probably so. there's quite a lot of James Thomas's born in Wales same date so probably need his father's name from the marriage cert. |
