Find Ancestors

My ggrandmother is Rachel Ellen Aston. On her marriage certificate of 1910 ( to Albert Frederick Currell), which took place in West Bromwich, Staffs, her father is William Aston, an iron moulder'. She is 23 on the certificate.

A family member had a tree with Rachel's parents as William and Lydia - the source was from the 1891 census in Staffordshire where there is a Rachel, but she's only aged 2, which doesn't match the marriage cert. age.

I sent for her birth certificate which was the only Rachel Ellen Aston born in 1887 - which ties up with her marriage certificate. The father was Wlliam but the mother was Rachel Ellen Newell. I can find a marriage for this couple in 1867, in Ettingshall, Staffs. The same name from mother to daughter and the year of birth suggest these are the correct parents.

However, I am unable to find any records to tie any of this together. I am stuck and would appreciate any thoughts.

William is a moulder, his father is a shingler and Rachel's father is a charcoal refiner.
Witnesses were Thomas Middleton and Maria Aston.

Thank you, I have this too. I can't find any census records for 1891 for this family, Rachel the daughter would have been 4 years old.

Just found this family in 1911 and Rachel is there. 'My' Rachel was married in 1910, so that discounts this family with Lydia.

Not sure about Lydia. Doesn't really tie in. Still looking for William Aston and Rachel, nee Newell, with their child Rachel Ellen in 1891/1901 census. There are so many Astons!!
