In 1841, Sarah (Sally) Tippet nee Basset age 45 is living in Kea Cornwall. With her is Catherine Basset age 15. I am trying to find the family link because I cannot identify Sarah from present info. |

My Catherine born about 1827, William above 1857 - too many years between them I think. |

Is this the 1841 you have seen ? |
|||
|
Anita | Report | 27 Jul 2015 18:38 |
Yes that's the 1841. Thomas and Sabby(bad handwriting) Sally/Sarah Tippet is my great, great, great grandmother. She is my only blank line going back. |

Yes to jail 1820. Her first child was born in jail and baptised at Launceston, father Thomas Tippet of Kea. |

Just used source on my ancestry tree for 1841. There is a line drawn down which is leading to only up to Sally 6 being read but beneath are Harriet and Catherine. |

Catherine Bafsett aged 15 is not in the same household. |

Look at any other mark dividing households on the same double page and it is clearly BELOW Catherine Basset and above Elliot Pascoe. The word Tomperrow is again repeated level with Pascoe. |

The line drawn down denotes the children to Thos and Sally the Catherine Basset is not one of their children. Could she be Sally's sister????? Or her brothers child? |

Catherine would not be living alone at 15 and there is no 1 in the left hand column to show another dwelling place. The name is Basset. Several contact also read it as Basset. Given ss was written as fs without the cross bar in the f in this period it is about the practices used in 1841. |
