If you look on Scotlandspeople at the image of the baptism for the child John Wright baptised in 1839 that should tell you if he was the lawful son of James and Mary. |

I thought the John baptised 1839 had possibly died and that is why the 1845 one is also called John. |

Sorry don't know anything about Mary King apart from her name on her son's marriage cert , although it does show her as Mary Wright m.s. King dec'd. |

If the child baptised in 1839 had the same Mary King as his mother then she would have been very young when he was born. |
