Launton was the home of the extended Reeves family who left Ireland to go there and settle. Henry and Caroline had 12 sons and I am following all thier descendents. I am the great grandaughter of Austin Henry. |

Thank uou Jacqueline. I took William Cox jr to be her father as her Mother is his widow. who remarried William Wright in Ireland. I will follow up all the leads mentioned and see where it all leads to. :-) |

Hi Everyone I just checked the family bible and Caroline did marry Henry of course and they had Austin henry who married Emily roughton. theses are my grand parents. I believe Henry's father was Augustine which was where austin derives from but it means going back to ireland and a possible norman connection. |

tbh most of the trees concerning Csroline are wrong. I am absolutely ertain she married AUSTIN Henry Reeves. I have now found her parents. her father was William Cox jr . her mother Elizabeth Burr was his widow. who remarried in Ireland. Having said that there is a lot of info here that is very helpful. thank you so much everyone. |

Hester/Esther shown as a widow in 1851. Unfortunately as the 1841 wouldn't record that, it's not certain whether she was widowed by 1841 or her husband just wasn't at home on the day. |

Eliza's baptism with mother as Esther Jaynes. AS there is no Father mentioned then I would think that Esther is a Jaynes. Perhaps a William Cox admitted parentage of Caroline as she has that surname on the 1841 census?? |
