If you are ordering certs, always order them through the GRO where they will cost you £9.25 each (or through a local Register Office).

Other sites often charge very much more (up to £40 or so) !

These are the children of Frederick J Chisnall and Mary Ann English:

Frederick J Chisnall born 1911 Colcehester- he died in 1913 at Woolwich

Samuel Richard Chisnall (your Grandad) was born 1913 in Billericay. He married Lilian Daisy Oliphant in 1936 Hackney. For quite a few years they lived at Thirlmere Road, Wood Green. Samuel died in 1975 (registered Islington)

Florence M Chisnall was born in 1915 Fulham- she died aged 2 in 1917 Poplar

Gladys Hilda Chisnall was born in 1917 Poplar. She married Frank Harnwell in 1939 Poplar. She died 10th January 2013.

Frederick G Chisnall was born 1918 Poplar. He married Margaret P Forgione in 1947 Lambeth. He died 1997 Greenwich.

Arthur G Chisnall was born 1920 Poplar- he died 1922 Poplar.

Charles Edward Chisnall was born 7th December 1921 Mile End. (two possible marriages for him). He died 19th February 1999 Hackney.

Florence I Chisnall was born 1924 Edmonton. She married Edward C Jewell in 1943 Deptford. Her husband was in the army. She is on a passenger list to Canada in 1946.

Akso lools like fredrick J died at 2 as well

Yes- your grandfather was Samuel Richard Chisnall. His parents were Frederick Joshua Chisnall and Mary Ann English. (ordering Samuel's birth certificate will confirm this)
