I think this may be her in 1901 with the aforesaid John Moore, but her husband's name is down as John rather than James? |

Wow Rose now that is interesting the marriage of Mary Emma Moore in 1895 to James Roberts, I wonder why she gave the name of Polly Moore in the Manchester Workhouse . Feel sure this is the mother of Mary Teresa Moore who gave birth to a daughter in 1925 Leeds and was in a RC care home there |

In the 1881 census I see it states Mary As Moore living with in laws as being a widow yet in the 1891 census there was a son John age 15 but he was not on the 1881 census, interesting I have found no death for Hiram a Moore in Lancashire. |

The Mary A Moore you found in 1871 in prison do you think it could be possible she went in after the census in Hulme |

So the Mary E Moore must be Mary Emma his sister. Witness at Josephs wedding. In the Manchester workhouse she was called Polly and I found her through an address as being 58 Newcastle Street Hulme and states her friend as being what looks like Mr Haucroft but in 1871 the next door neighbour was Hobroyd at no 61 . |

Thank you Rose Idid find these 2 records. They also had a daughter Mary E Moore born about 1868 - 1870 . Found her to be in the Manchester Workhouse in 1904 with a daughter, believe she was unmarried . The family out in America are desperate to find information on this daughter Mary Teresa a Moore. |
