im looking for more details of julia eleanor perkins married john duncan welford
i know they split up and left children in workhouse and no one heard of her again so her daughter julia said i found a julia walford which could be her i mentioned this . . . . . . . . . . if someone could please look and see if this could be her

thank you for your help this family is a right mystery to me lol
i dont think that julia's father married a thomas trying to find out if frances perkins died or she left him between the 1841 and 1851 census also there might have been other children born to samuel and frances because of the age between the girls births 11 years

its very odd but julia's children were brought up by william welford when she left them and he was a carpenter like the father on julia walford's marriage cert. and there is no birth for her in 1840-1841 so it could that it was her married name

thanks for your help still cant find the mother julia there is a marriage in the name of julia walford wondered if spelt wrong in 1891 to charles maidman she died the same age as my julia welford in 1918

The children go into the Westminster Workhouse in 1868. Entry says 'Deserted by Parents'.

thanks andy i know the marriage but cant find when they died and why they werenot on other census after 1861

If Julia ran off she may have lived with a new partner and assumed his name which wouldn't be searchable unless you know the guys name she went off with
