I had a quick look at the baptism register for St Mary and St Lawrence Great Waltham and St Martin Little Waltham for around 1795 but tI can see no entries for the surname Viall/Vial/Vile. Of course the family may have come into Great Waltham from anywhere and that would mean searching the registers moving out from Great Waltham looking for instances of the surname. |

Jus in case they are C of E Banns I checked the registers for a marriage up to a year after the date of the intended marriage and there isn't one, of course it might be Banns being read in his church and the actual marriage took place in her church. |
