Hi Chris, i read your link and it is definatly my Gt Aunt Ada that they are talking about, can not quite understand the conversation, are they saying that she emigrated to the U.S.A. ?

a tree on Ancestry that I think might have your Leather connection - it lists Sarah Egerton born Northwich, England, married to John Liversidge, and died 1928 in Lawrence, Mass. Her parents are listed as Charles Egerton & Elizabeth Leather. Elizabeth was born 1842 in Hertsford, Chesire and died 25 Dec. 1937 in Northwich Chesire.

Are you sure Alan that that's not your Ada?. She may have added a couple of years to her age if she wasn't legally allowed to marry without the permission of a parent or guardian.
