Ann- that registration doesn't fit with a November birth.

Hi Karen- just for reference, is this the family in Queen's Co. 1911:

42 in Stradbally Town (Stradbally, Queen's Co.)

Flanagan James 40 Male Head of Family Roman Catholic
Flanagan Katie 31 Female Wife Roman Catholic
Flanagan Joseph 7 Male Son Roman Catholic
Flanagan Edward 6 Male Son Roman Catholic
Flanagan John 5 Male Son Roman Catholic
Flanagan Francis 3 Male Son Roman Catholic
Flanagan Brendon 2 Male Son Roman Catholic
Flanagan Margret 6mths Female Daughter Roman Catholic
Cantwell Mary 74 Female Mother in Law

So we're looking for a Gerard Flanagan born 1915 with parents James and Kate?

Where did you get his Date of birth from Karen?

The births for the other children look like they were registered in Athy- but I don't see a Gerard.

Yes that's the family Francis us my grandad and I'm sorry I can't remember but I was given the date of birth. But my grandad never mentioned him. :(

Sorry Karen, I can't find any births around that year in the right area. Someone on Ancestry has this family in their tree, but no Gerard either.

As your Grandad never mentioned him, and as there is no logical birth for him- maybe the information is incorrect?

Perhaps you should contact the person from this site that gave you some information previously?

Just to let you know you can’t buy or view certificates on genes

England / Wales ones have to be bought through the GRO at Southport using these filing ref known as GRO ref that can be found on free sites like Freebmd

Scottish certs are through Scotland’s People website

Irish are through

Northern Irish birth, marriage and death registers and certificates

Search the General Registrar’s Office Northern Ireland for births more than 100 years old, marriages 75 more than years old and deaths more than 50 years old. Searches are free but there is a charge to view results. If you find an entry in the registers you can order a certificate.

It’s known as GRONI
